Ouch. Back trouble is most annoying. Do you need to visit a physio or an osteopath? Or is your not-normal back something you trust then worth? I have found the NHS most unhelpful over back trouble. Strong painkillers, or muscle relaxants. But if it's been this long, definitely ask, as these problems can become difficult to fix the longer they go on, plus affecting other areas of the body - as I'm sure you know.

My latest spell has been muscular. I got the osteopath to put my spine straight (so my weak disc was protected), then a remedial massage. Finally, Pilates. The culprit (QL muscle) has settled, but one of the glute muscles is aggravating my sciatic nerve, so I'm nursing that a bit.
