@variablepulserate It’s much better now. A bit tender in places, but nothing significant. And the way it responds to external sensation is back in line with my other fingers - for a while everything felt different when touched with that finger. There’s a slight dent along the line of the cut, but that’s probably less noticeable than the redness and swelling of the nearby joint which is arthritis. I was lucky, could have been a whole lot worse.
